“The Ten Year History of Super Dollfie: 2007”
In the pleasant early summer breeze of July, we held a 'Super Dollfie Event in Tenshi-no-Sumika' in our nationwide stores so well-loved by our dear Owners.
This was an event where we held a 'Standard Fair', a 'New Dress Release' and a 'Tenshi-no-Sumika Fair' all at the same time. SD Boy 'Mark' and SD13 Girl 'Elena' were introduced as Standard SD, and popular FCS heads that had been limited to Tenshi-no-Sato became available at all our Sumika locations as well.

In August we once again held 'Home Town Dolpa Osaka 4' in Osaka.
The Limited SD that made their debut were SD13 Boy 'Amakusa Shiro Tokisada' from 'Echoes of a Beautiful Banquet', and SD13 Girl 'Cristal' from 'The Maidens' Promises', along with SD Girl 'Nono Sweet Dream “Summer Beach” Version', and YoSD boy 'Ayumu' and girl 'Tanpopo'. It was a day in which the cool atmosphere of the many Super Dollfie allowed you to forget the heat of summer.

And then October, and the holding of the 'Angels Descending Autumn 2007' event.
Those that alighted at Tenshi-no-Sato this time were three tiny Yo-Tenshi, 'Yuki White Snow Version', 'Yuh' and 'Yuki', along with Ko-Tenshi 'Tsubaki Sweet Dream Version'.

'Yuki' and 'Tsubaki', so loved by so many Owners, descending this time in a slightly different form. We could vividly feel the excitement we received from Owners, along with the enthusiasm of the event itself.
And then as we greeted the arrival of November, we held 'Dolls Party in LA 2007' on the far side of the world. It was the first time we had held a Dolpa in Los Angeles, and everyone who took part seemed full of delight. Owners turned such happy, smiling faces towards our staff that just looking at them made us feel blessed.
It was at this event that the SD16 'Jewels' concept, so popular in America, first came into existence, and 'Ruby' and 'Garnet' made their debut. The charm of these sophisticated girls immediately became the topic of conversation, building up the Dolpa into something truly grand. And in addition, YoSD 'Chinatsu' and 'Kuuta' made their appearance, eagerly awaited by American SD fans. They were delighted, their wishes granted in the form of the SD they most desired to welcome home.

And then it was December 23rd, and the 'Dolls Party 18' event.
The debuting Limited SD were SD17 boy 'Alain' and SD Cute girl 'Renee' from 'Journey to Dream Nights'. SD13 girl 'Suigintou' and YoSD girl 'Hinaichigo' from the Rozen Maiden series also made their appearance.
The tale of the somewhat unreliable 'Alain' and the dependable 'Renee' was very warmly received by all, and the two girls from Rozen Maiden were also welcomed with great longing.
And as well as that, YoSD 'Chinatsu' and 'Kuuta', so recently welcomed home at the 'Dolls Party in LA 2007', were also delivered once again to Japanese owners. It was truly the perfect event to wrap up the year.
It was also a year in which countless Volks Showrooms and Tenshi-no-Sumikas were opened all over the country. Starting in March, our year-long preparations finished and the Fukuoka Showroom was opened. In April the Fukuyama Showroom, our second store in Hiroshima, was opened. In August the Shinjuku Alta store completed its move and upgrade. In October the Shizuoka Showroom opened, then in the following month the Kanazawa Showroom opened, and then in December the Omiya Showroom was opened. And so a great many of our customers finally became able to visit us, customers who until now could not come to our stores because they were too far away. And during that time our Yokohama and then Akihabara stores were also refurbished, surely allowing them to show a brand new side of Volks to our Owners.
We worked our hardest throughout 2007, wanting to forever go on as a brand new entity.
And then at last, we welcomed 2008, this very year, in which the celebrations for our 10th Anniversary began. Next time let's look back once more at 2008, still so fresh in our memories!
