Lalucia's mother and father did their best to make a cake. ....and, since the two of them weren't able to make it very well, their butler Will did his best to cover up for them.
By midnight, exhausted, he passed out on the sofa. When Lalucia later discovered Will, still sleeping there, she gave him her beloved plush toy friend to use in place of a pillow.
The next day, when Will came to return her dear friend to her, she asked him, "why did you make chocolate cake yesterday?"
So Will went to get some photos and told her about it. "When your parents first met, they were wearing chocolate colored clothes, and the first words they exchanged were about a chocolate covered ribbon that the Master had gathered up for your mother, and both the Master and Miss Lalucia both have chocolate colored hair, and so the Master and Mistress love chocolate, you see."
Yes, that's right; the cake that he made yesterday was a chocolate cake to celebrate Lalucia's mother and father's wedding anniversary.
