This is Nana, my MSD Marie.
She’s the first SD I ever brought home.
Because she loves adventure she’s the best one to take with me when I go out.

The first photo I took at Ishikari in Hokkaido prefecture.
In this spacious vacant lot was a meadow, stretching on endlessly, full of flowers in full bloom.
It was last summer. Even the strong sea breeze streaming her hair out behind her was pretty.

The second photo is the cherry blossoms inside Yumedono hall in Horyu Temple, in Nagoya.
It is from last year’s spring, but the weeping cherry was absolutely magnificent.
I had to put her completely inside the cherry blossom’s cage in order to take the picture.

I received her at the Shinjuku store, on January 15th, 2006. It was the day the One-Offs were announced.
When I greeted the store manager, my heart was beating very fast. Receiving her was mixed up with feelings of nervousness and anxiety.
Even now I get nostalgic thinking about it.

By now she has quite an extended family but she does a great job of holding them together.
I’m counting on you, Nana!
