It’s been 3 years since I first heard about Super Dollfies.
At first I thought I’d be fine with just one but now I have eleven, and all of them boys…
And they’re all of the 60cm and over type, from SD13 to SD17 in size.
“Tenshi no Sato” is the birthplace of Super Dollfie, and so sometimes I go there and sometimes I take them with me.
There’s also a place that no-one else even notices, where I can take the photos that I want to take.
But from our neighbourhood Kyoto’s a long way away.
I can’t visit there that often, so lately I’ve been enjoying taking photos in nearby places.
This place is a canal in the area of Kyoto called Nanzenjikeidai.
In the 21st year of the Meiji era, the semi-circle arched bridge was completed. It is made from red brick and done in a retro style.
It appears to have been fashioned after the waterways of the Roman Empire.
This place was also used as a location for the filming of a television drama.
One more thing.
The Osaka Central Public Hall in Nakanoshima is also made from brick.
There’s a restaurant on the first floor that’s reminiscent of the Taisho period. I recommend the omelette rice.
